Carnival Steakhouse Menu With Hands On Review (Amazing Menu 2024)

You might have heard about the Carnival Speciality restaurant, the Steakhouse.

It’s a perfect spot for having a romantic date with your hubby on Carnival Cruise.

As compared to the Main Dining Room or the Lido Restaurant, this steak house offers a delicious menu with a unique and elegant setting.

It’s really a true haven for meat lovers and found on various Carnival ships.

Personally, Steakhouse is my top choice on every Carnival Cruise due to its upscale and intimate setting, making it perfect for quality time with my hubby.

So, due to the high demand, I’ve come up with a hands-on review of the Carnival Steakhouse to share what you can expect from this dining spot and the overall experience.

So let’s get started.

Things You Must Know About The Carnival Steakhouse

Carnival Steakhouse

If you’re planning to visit the Carnival Steakhouse, here are a few things that I want you to know first:

1- Additional Fee Applies

Unlike the Main Dining Room, the Carnival Steakhouse charges an additional fee. This extra cost covers what they’re offering. A premium and luxury ambiance and delicious menu.

So before visiting, keep in mind that you will be charged some bucks, unlike the main Dining Room, which is included in your cruise fare.

I’ll discuss the price later in the article, but for now, be aware that it is charged per person.

2- Dress Code

If you’re visiting the Steakhouse for the first time, you might be confused about the Dress Code.

So generally, the Carnival Steakhouse dress code is a blend of “cruise casual/elegant.” It means that you are allowed to choose anything from jeans and a collared shirt to a tuxedo or cocktail dress, according to Carnival’s guidelines.

When I visited this dining spot in 2018, many folks chose something in between. Men wore khakis or dress pants with collared shirts, while women opted for dress pants with houses or casual dresses.

And if you ask me, I went for a middle-ground style. I wore dress pants with a blouse because I love a casual and comfortable look.

So these are the things you need to know before visiting the Carnival Steak Restaurant. Now, let’s move on to what the restaurant looks like.

Ambiance Of The Carnival Steakhouse

I would just say this in short that Carnival Steakhouse is just cool and beyond the world in terms of ambiance and setting.

The environment and setting you get after moving from the Main Dining Room or Lido Restaurant is just amazing because the Steakhouse is a completely different experience.

Talking about the Room, so it’s pretty cool due to the darkened windows that you are able to look out onto the Lido.

It’s just dim and chill making it a perfect spot for having a romantic date.

What I like the most is the back-lit walls, faux candles, dark carpeting, and light-colored furniture set with custom dinnerware and cutlery. All these things set a relaxed and elegant mood.

We had a super-convo time, which was the best feeling of my life. The tables here are set rather close together, making it easy for you to chat with your partner without being too loud.

Staff Behaviour

The Staff Behaviour in Carnival Steak Restaurant plays a crucial role in enhancing the guests’ experience.

As soon as you walk through the restaurant to sit down at your table, they pull out your chair, place your utensils, and present your napkin. It’s really delightful.

All they aim is to provide a unique dining experience with extreme convenience.

In contrast, if you see such restaurants in your town or city, they’ll charge you a lot, but in the Steak restaurant, you’ll have a chance to enjoy a fine dining experience at a highly affordable price.

Due to this high-quality service and affordability, it’s the center of attention for many cruisers.

In short, it’s the spot where fine dining often comes with a hefty price tag at a highly reasonable price.

What Food Carnival Steakhouse Offers?

The Steak Restaurant is not only famous for its romantic setting, but also due to the unique and delicious food menu.

Not only that, there’s a lot of variety, offering a fantastic selection of seafood entrees, as well as gourmet appetizers, salads, and soups.

A non-steak eater? No problem at all, as Steakhouse has a lot of other options to offer you.

Aside from the beed entrees, you can also enjoy lobster tail, roasted chicken, and lamb chops. Jumbo shrimps.

Hands-On Review

I experienced Carnival Steakhouse on Carnival Liberty with my husband in 2018 for the first time. The experience was out of this world.

We had a waiter accompany us from the entrance to the chair, pulling out chairs and setting plates for us.

After we sat at the table, they brought us bread to start out with, and the bread was delicious.

I think the chefs had prepared many sliders for each table as a starter. There were many hamburgers, and they were delicious.

For appetizers, I had the crab cake; it was lumpy, full of crab, and served with a tasty sauce. It was good.

My main course was a beefsteak tomato and gorgonzola salad, which was right up my alley. It was so delicious, and I enjoyed it too much.

Let me tell you one thing: I’m a big dessert fan, and I had a wonderful apple tart. It featured cooked apples on top of puff pastry, all topped with ice cream, and it was delicious.

In short, my experience with the Carnival Steakhouse was just amazing as compared to the Main Dining Room or Lido Restaurant.
