Royal Caribbean Suite Perks: Unveiling Exclusive Benefits

Royal Caribbean Suites are the top consideration of people looking for a hassle-free and luxurious cruise experience. These suites offer top-level perks that everyone wants for a comfortable cruise.

There are several benefits of booking a Royal Caribbean Suite. Some perks include priority boarding, reserved entertainment seating, complimentary 24-hour room service, and more.

I know it’s exciting to know about the perks and amenities these suites offer. Interestingly, I felt the same excitement when I made my first shift from a stateroom to a Suite.

So, without further ado, let’s discuss the perks of every Royal Caribbean suite and Class.

What Do You Get In A Suite On Royal Caribbean?

Royal Caribbean Suites provides several benefits to make the guest’s cruise experience more comfortable.

The common benefits that every suite guest enjoys include Luxury bathroom amenities, priority boarding, a Royal Caribbean Bathrobe, and a Lavazza Espresso Coffee Machine.

Many more luxury perks are only accessible to guests in higher suite tiers.

But before moving towards those perks, I highly recommend you understand the difference between the Royal Caribbean Suite programs and Suite Class.

It’s because Royal Caribbean offers both new and old ships with different Suite services and varying perks. So, firstly, you must find out whether your ship has the old Royal Caribbean Suites Program or the Royal Suite Class.

Royal Caribbean Suite Perks Explained

Understanding the benefits of Royal Caribbean Suites can be confusing. The benefits vary depending on the ship you’re cruising—the older Royal Caribbean Suites Program or the new Royal Suite Class ship.

I’ve detailed both services separately, specifying the ships on which they are available.

3- Royal And Villa Suite Perks

Royal And Villa Suite Perks

Before moving towards the perks of these suites, don’t get confused like me between the Royal Suites and the Royal Suite Class. These are the suites available on older ships, not the Suite Class of the newer ships.

On these suites, you get the same perks of the lower suite grades, as well as:

  • A welcome bottle of Moet & Chandon
  • Officer Escort Onboard from Terminal at Check-In

I know it’s not a big list, but when combined with the lower suites’ perks, they get bigger. Nd guess what? You’re also treated to an escorted onboard experience by an officer of the ship. What more could you want?

What Is Royal Genie?

Royal Caribbean’s Royal Genie Service is like a butler on board their cruise ships; however, they prefer to call their staff Genies because Royal Caribbean is modern.

Designed around the Star suite guest, The Royal Genie creates exclusive, one-of-a-kind experiences.

In addition to catering to the Star guests’ suites, the Royal Genie creates VIP experiences tailored specifically to the guests’ preferences throughout the entire ship.

They can make your wishes come true, though, and are on hand to help with various tasks, including:

  • Escorting you onboard and making sure your luggage is expedited
  • Arranging your seating in entertainment venues
  • Managing your dining reservations (and making recommendations)
  • Planning celebration requests if you have a birthday or anniversary while sailing

Which Suite Is Best For You?

royal caribbean suite worth it

Choosing a suite on Royal Caribbean depends on your needs. But here are my recommendations on which Suite you should choose for your next cruise experience:

  • Junior Suite: Ideal when you want more space than a standard stateroom and priority boarding but also cruising on a tight budget.
  • Grand Suite: Perfect when priority access, luxury amenities, and spacious room are your consideration.
  • Royal Suite: Optimal only when the budget is not a concern and you want a welcoming start with VIP escorting services.

The same is recommended for the Royal Suite Class section.

Is a Royal Caribbean Suite worth it?

No Doubt, Royal Caribbean Suites are pricey, but they are worth it due to the benefits they offer. So, if you want a hassle-free cruise experience, the Royal Caribbean Suite is worth the price.

But if you are the person who uses the accommodation only as a place to sleep and get ready, then you can save a lot of money by not choosing a suite.

However, without the Suite, you’ll miss out on perks like the best seats in venues or priority boarding, but many of the other benefits are things you can pay for separately on an as-needed basis.

Suites are worth the price when you’re cruising with your family.

Do Royal Caribbean Suites Include Drinks?

Only the Star tier in the Royal Suite Class on the newer ships comes with the complementary Deluxe Beverage package (One per person).

The Deluxe Beverage package is for guests 21 years and older (18 and older where applicable by law). Guests under the legal drinking age will receive the Refreshment Package.
