Having personally experienced this cruise, I can confidently say that this ship is the hub of enjoyable activities as a couple.

On our embarkation day, while docked in Civitavecchia, Italy, we rode the North Star, which turned out to be an incredibly fun and unique experience. 

Initially, I was a bit nervous about the height, but as time passed, I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially with my partner by my side.

Following that amazing ride, we had a romantic dinner at a specialty dining venue since we were the Grand Suite guests.

The next day, we decided to try something adventurous and went for a skydive. I usually feel jittery about heights, but fortunately, this cruise line offers Ripcord by iFly, which resolved my problem.

During this skydive, we received a safety briefing and flight suites. We take turns going in the air tube where high-powered fans provide the sensation of what it is like to skydive.

Over the following days, we engaged in a rock climbing challenge, and I must confess, my partner won. We also had a blast experiencing the FlowRide, enjoying the lively casino ambiance, dancing at the Silent Disco, and immersing ourselves in the vibrant nightlife.

A highlight for us was the relaxing spa treatment. I had a deep tissue massage while my partner opted for a hot stone massage at the spa located on Deck 15. It was such a nice, relaxing, and soothing experience.

Overall, this ship stands as the best one for us to have a quality and fun time with our partners while also pampering ourselves with spa treatments.

My first cruise with my husband was on this ship, and there’s a lot of stuff to enjoy as a couple. Here are the activities we indulge in:

On the Spectrum of the Seas, we were happy to discover that it exceeds foodie expectations with its exceptional onboard dining venues offering a range of world-class restaurants. As a food enthusiast, my husband was especially excited about this aspect.

Our favorite was Sichuan Red, where we tried Asian-inspired dishes such as tender steamed lobster tossed with garlicky rice noodles.

Following our romantic and delightful dining experience, we headed to Two70, an innovative space that transforms throughout the day and night. 

Since we went here at night, it was like a multimedia theater and lounge where we watched dazzling performances by acrobats, aerialists, and dancing robotic screens.

After witnessing a state-of-art spectacular at Two70, we went to Bionic Bar to raise a glass of innovation and adventure. This spot is truly Insta-worthy, perfect for updating your cruise journey with Instafam, just like I love to do.

The next day, we geared up for adventure and tried Laser Tag for some Glow-In-The-Dark experience. It’s free for cruise ship guests, but reserve your slot through the cruise planner app or onboard at the box office.

We also enjoyed other activities throughout our remaining days, such as rocking out at the Music Hall with Live Onboard Entertainment, indulging in a romantic dining experience at Jamie’s Italian By Jamie Oliver, and capturing panoramic views from the North Star.

In short, this cruise experience was fun, especially because it was my first time experiencing such a wide array of couple-oriented activities and dining options.
